Strood Community Project provides emergency food for local people in crisis. Most foodbank recipients are not homeless; they are low-income working families or individuals who hit crisis, people who have been made redundant or people experiencing benefits delays.
Strood Community Project is a Distribution Centre for Medway Foodbank and provide this service to the local community. Food can only be issued on receipt of a signed, valid voucher, obtainable from over 100 referral agencies across Medway. More detail on the Medway Foodbank Programme.
